Every member of District 216 has a reason they walked into their first Toastmasters meeting, and a reason they keep coming back. We want to hear yours.

To kick things off, District 216 Public Relations Manager Merek Roman answers the two questions himself:

Your turn: record a 30-second video

Answer the same two questions: Why did you join Toastmasters, and why do you stay? Your story could appear in our newsletter, on social media, and in future District 216 promotions.

• Hold your phone sideways. Horizontal phone video is perfect.
• Lead with your reason. Name what brought you in within the first few seconds, such as a job interview, a presentation at work, or a wedding toast.
• Keep it to about 30 seconds. We’ll handle the editing and polish.
• Share a link, not an attachment. Video files are usually too large for email, so send a Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive link.

Email your link to prm@216toastmasters.org. Before we share any video, everyone featured completes our photo and video release. It takes about a minute online and covers all District 216 features for the program year.
