Tonight is the last night.
Round 1 training credit closes at the end of Monday, August 31. Two virtual sessions are still open — District 83 at 7:00 p.m. ET and District 206 at 9:00 p.m. ET. Registration links are below.
District 216’s own sessions have wrapped, but if any of your club’s officers still need credit, there is still time — officers may attend club officer training hosted by any Toastmasters district in the world and receive credit toward your club’s Distinguished Club Program Goal 9.
All times below are listed in Eastern Time for our district.
How to make an out-of-district session count
- Register and attend the session.
- On the sign-in sheet or in the chat, clearly note that you are from District 216, along with your club name and club number.
- Afterward, email both the host district’s Program Quality Director and ours — Vicki Harwood, pqd@216toastmasters.org — so your attendance can be verified and recorded.
Step 3 is the one people forget. Without it, the host district has no way to report your training back to D216.

Why it matters
Goal 9 of the Distinguished Club Program awards a point when at least four of your club’s seven officers are trained in each round. Round 1 covers June 1 through August 31. Every officer trained tonight is a point banked toward your club’s Distinguished status — and District 216’s first year as a district.
Questions about credit, or not sure whether an officer has already been recorded as trained? Reach out to Program Quality Director Vicki Harwood at pqd@216toastmasters.org.
Session details were confirmed against each host district’s own website on August 28, 2026. Host districts may change or cancel sessions without notice — please check the registration page before you plan around one.
