Toastmasters Book Club
This month’s book: Vacuuming in the Nude and Other Ways to Get Attention by Peggy Rowe (mother of Mike Rowe). Taking Josh Winkelstein’s suggestion to read something lighter, this one is a fairly quick read.
Format: Virtual, via Zoom. Free and open to everyone — no registration required.
Join by Zoom: Email info@216toastmasters.org for the meeting link.
The Toastmasters Book Club is a group forming inside District 216, built around reading and discussing one book together each month. Members practice speaking, listening, and giving feedback in a relaxed setting — and you do not need to have finished the book to take part.
Guests are especially welcome. This is not an advanced club, so you do not need to be a Toastmaster to attend. The group is working toward chartering as a full club, and welcoming guests who are new to Toastmasters is the fastest way to get there. Bring a friend or a family member.
Times are Eastern — one hour earlier for clubs on Central Time.
